HPMC is a kind of white or yellow powder without poison, smelland taste.It keeps water in mortar,plaster or coating so as to increase the cohesive strenth,shearing force and opening time.
It reduces fricative coefficient and enhances lubricating property in making porcelain and cement products. Solution of HPMC in making porcelain can enhance its forming property.
Dry powder mortar and building plaster can be used easily with HPMC. When PH value in the range of 3-11,PH value will affect a little the viscosity of HPMC solution.
HPMC can dissolve in some organic solution or water-organic composite solution. The film foming property of HPMC is much better, it can form a thin, transparent,soft film to resisted oil and ester.this data is only as a reference.
